Migrating from Forcepoint F1E to the Forcepoint agent

To know on agent support for on-prem DLP subset of use cases, contact Forcepoint customer support to see if this is suitable for you.

If you have previously deploy classic F1E Proxy Connect Endpoint and Direct Connect Endpoint agents in your organization, you can migrate to the Forcepoint agent easily.

With the classic Forcepoint F1E agents, you could only configure one of the agent operating modes on a single endpoint out of proxy connect and direct connect. With the new agent, you can have both proxy connect and direct connect modes installed and available on the same endpoint and the new agent also supports auto-switching.

To migrate your endpoints from the classic Forcepoint F1E to new agent, you need to uninstall Forcepoint F1E, then install the new agent.
