Post-quantum Preshared Key Properties dialog box

Use this dialog box to create a new PPK element.

Option Definition
Name (Optional) Enter a name for the PPK element for easy identification.
Note: If the name field is left empty, then the primary PPK ID is used as the name of the element.
Primary PPK section
ID Enter the primary PPK ID.
Note: The PPK ID is a string that can be between 1 and 1024 characters long.
Secret
Enter the pre-shared secret that is associated with the primary PPK ID.
Note: If you want to change the primary pre-shared secret on both gateways, first define the new secret in the Secondary PPK section and then use the Swap button to swap between the primary and secondary secret. For more details, refer to the Update the Post-quantum Pre-shared key topic in the Forcepoint Network Security Platform Product Guide.
Note:
  • The Secret can be one of the following:
    • An ASCII string.
    • A hex-encoded string if it has a 0x prefix in its value.
    • A Base64-encoded string if it has a 0s prefix in its value.
  • The secret must have minimum of 256 bits of entropy. For example, 32 bytes of cryptographically secure random data encoded as hex or base64.
Hide When selected, the primary pre-shared secret is hidden.
Swap Click the Swap button to swap between the primary and secondary PPK ID and Secret pairs.

ID (Optional) Enter the secondary PPK ID.

Secret (Optional) Enter the pre-shared secret that is associated with the secondary PPK ID.
