VPN Gateway Settings

Use the SMC Client to create the Security Engine element. This is described in detail in section Create an element for the Security Engine. The steps in this section apply to internal VPN gateway. At a high-level configure following:

Steps

  1. Configure endpoints with appropriate setting as explained in section, Define endpoints for VPN Gateway elements.
  2. Define site elements for VPN gateways manually as explained in section, Define a VPN site for internal private networks.
  3. Disable Automated Certificate Management to use an external CA as explained in section Disable automated certificate management.
