Disable in the SMC by deleting the Security Engine element

To disable communication from the SMC, delete the Security Engine element in the SMC Client.

1. Select Engine Configuration.
2. Right-click the Security Engine element, then select Delete.
3. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
   If any other elements refer to the Security Engine element, delete the references before you continue.
4. Select Engine Configuration, then select Trash.
5. Right-click the Security Engine element, then select Delete.
6. Click Yes to confirm the permanent deletion.
