Uninstall agent via Microsoft Intune

This task explains how to uninstall the Mobile Endpoint Agent from managed Android devices using Microsoft Intune.

Note: The steps outlined below have been validated using Microsoft Intune. While similar configurations may be possible with other MDM solutions, they have not been verified.

Steps

  1. Step 1: Remove the app assignment.
    1. In the Microsoft Intune admin center, navigate to Apps > Android.
    2. From the Android apps list, select Forcepoint Mobile.
    3. Navigate to Manage > Properties.
    4. Under the Assignments section, click Edit.
    5. Under the Required or Available section, delete the existing group assignment.
  2. Step 2: Assign the app for uninstallation.
    1. Under the Uninstall section, click + Add group.
    2. In the Select groups panel, search for, and select the required device group, then click Select.

      The selected group appears under the Uninstall section with Active status.

    3. Click Review + save.
    4. On the Review + save tab, confirm that the group is listed under Uninstall in the summary.
    5. Click Save. A confirmation banner confirms that the app assignment has been saved.

Result

The Forcepoint Mobile app is removed and no longer appears on the device home screen.
