Installing and upgrading macOS SmartEdge agent

For information about installing, upgrading or uninstalling Forcepoint ONE SSE macOS SmartEdge agents, refer to the Deploying SmartEdge Agent.

Consider the following while upgrading from the older version of SmartEdge agents to 1.5.1 version:

• macOS 1.4.12 agents: You should uninstall the existing version of these older agents and install macOS 1.5.1 agents. To know in detail about the agent installation, refer to Installing SmartEdge Agent 1.5.0 or newer versions on macOS.
• macOS 1.5.0 agents: You can setup auto-upgrade to receive the macOS 1.5.1 agent version. To know in detail about auto-upgrade setup, refer to Auto-updating SmartEdge Agent.
