Understanding Resource Center

Forcepoint ONE SSE eases administration with automated and context-aware guidance. The Forcepoint ONE SSE Resource Center helps simplify initial configurations and time-to-value for new customers, as well as simplify management for existing customers as job duties and personnel changes occur.

The Forcepoint ONE SSE Resource Center dynamically links to relevant documentation, learning, and support resources. The Resource Center also suggests interactive walk-throughs to assist and make the service easy to use.

By default, the Resource Center appears at the top center of the screen. However, you can move the Resource Center from one side to another by placing the mouse pointer on it and dragging it to a new location.

When you open the Resource Center, you will find the following three tabs:

Resources

When you open the Resource Center, on the Resources tab, you will find resource suggestions, documentation and job aids, relevant to the section of the portal that you are in. You can use the search bar to find resources for tasks related to other areas of the portal.

At the bottom of the tab, the Useful Links section provide links to various Forcepoint resources and documentation.

Onboarding

On the Onboarding tab helps you to complete tasks associated with setting up Forcepoint ONE SSE by presenting the recommended order for the tasks to be taken and coupling them with documentation that will provide step-by-step guidance on how to complete each task.

This release mirrors the milestones and steps outlined in the Forcepoint ONE SSE Onboarding Playbook.

Start by opening the Resource Center and clicking the Onboarding tab:

  1. Select the task you want to complete.
  2. Read the step overview to understand how this task benefits your implementation. Click Next to proceed.
  3. Review the tasks and the associated documents to guide you through configuration. After you have finished the configuration, click Mark task compete.
  4. Click Return to onboarding tasks to return to the Onboarding tab of the Resource Center or Done to close the onboarding help.

As you mark tasks complete, they will be crossed off your Onboarding list of tasks.

You can review your completion progress by reviewing the % Completed.

Forcepoint ONE SSE recommends that you complete the milestones and steps in the order presented, but they can be completed out of sequence to suit your needs.

Note: The onboarding covers all steps necessary for the Cloud Edition license for Forcepoint ONE SSE. If you have purchased a different edition, you may see steps for products that are not included in your purchased edition.

Help Me To

On the Help Me To tab, you can launch guided walk-throughs for common portal tasks.
