Time period

Use the time period selector to display reporting information for the previous number of hours or days.

Set the time period for the dashboard using the Time period drop-down menu. The dashboard displays information for traffic for the following time periods:

  • Last 1 hour
  • Last 24 hours
  • Last 7 days
  • Last 30 days

The selected time period applies to the timeline and all information panels on the page.

Comparison period

For dashboard modules that include a comparison period or trend indicator, data for the displayed time period is compared with data for the previous corresponding time period.

For example, when the time period is set to Last 7 days, the comparison period feature uses data from 7-14 days ago to calculate the trend or percentage change. Similarly, when the time period is set to Last 1 hour, Last 24 hours, or Last 30 days, the feature uses data from 1-2 hours ago, 24-48 hours ago, and 30-60 days ago, respectively, to calculate the trend or percentage change.
