Resources

Resources are reusable elements that can be assigned to policies to create traffic filtering and inspection rules.

The Administration > Resources page lists the resource types available in the left panel. Click an item to open the resource list.

Use the filter panel above the list of resources to search for a resource category. You can filter the list of resources for a specific resource using the filter panel above the right panel. Click Delete to clear your filter.

Resources can be user-defined, system-defined, or both.

• System-defined resources are managed by Forcepoint, and dynamically updated. System-defined resources cannot be edited by account administrators.
• User-defined resources can be added and edited by administrators.

You cannot delete a resource that is currently assigned to a policy. If the resource is in use, select Delete when unused to delete the resource after it has been removed from all policies.
