What the Details pane shows

The Details pane is shown by default in most views. In addition to element details, the details pane shows the most important status information for components.

The type of element determines which tabs are shown.

General tab — Shows general information about the element.

Interfaces tab — Shows information about the network ports of the selected engine node, such as speed and duplex.

Status tab — Shows the status of hardware and services.
For Security Engine appliances, the Status tab shows the hardware status of the selected device.
If the anti-malware feature is used, the status of the anti-malware signature database is shown.

General tab — Shows general information about the element.

Resources tab — Shows information about resource usage on the computer where the Management Server, Log Server, or Web Access Server is installed for troubleshooting purposes.
To refresh the information, click Update.
If the memory usage gets too high, the Management Server, Log Server, or Web Access Server automatically restarts, and an alert and an audit entry are generated.

Connectivity tab — Shows information about the connectivity between the selected SMC server and other system components.

History tab — Shows audit information about when the element was created and modified.
