Changing bucket permission

Before starting, you will need to make sure that the GCP bucket you wish to scan has the proper permissions. You will need to set the bucket under Access Control to fine grained.

Steps

  1. Login to GCP and navigate to GCP admin console > More Products > Storage > Cloud Storage > Browser page.


    The Browser page opens displaying all the available buckets.



  2. Click on the bucket name to open the Bucket details page.
  3. On the Bucket Details page, click the Permission tab and then set the Access Control is set to Fine Grained: Object-level ACLs enabled.


  4. To continue with the changes, click Save.


    Then proceed to the next step to authorize the API.
