Egnyte: Configuring API access

This guide page will walk you through how to setup Egnyte for API scanning with Forcepoint ONE SSE. It is important to note that Egnyte enforces API rate limits on all tenants which will not be suitable enough for Forcepoint ONE SSE API scanning.

All customers wishing to perform API scans in Egnyte will need to contact their Egnyte representative and request to have their rate limits (both total number of API calls per day and calls per second) increased in order to meet the requirements for a successful API integration with Forcepoint ONE SSE. Customers can follow the below model to calculate their minimum requirements:

• Minimum Daily Rate Limit: 432+72*{number of users}
• Minimum Calls per Second: {number of users}/10

Once the above has been done, admins can then move to actual setup and configuration.
