Configuring Egnyte API in Forcepoint ONE SSE

Once you have API key from the Egnyte Developer account, keep the page API key information page open or mark down the info and then open a new window and login to the Forcepoint ONE SSE portal.

Steps

  1. In the Forcepoint ONE SSE portal, navigate to Protect > API and click the Egnyte app icon to create a new API app for Egnyte.


  2. On the Authorize Egnyte dialog, provide the Egnyte Domain instance, the client ID (the API key), and client secret of the Egnyte Connect API Key you just created and then click Submit.


  3. Click the newly added Egnyte app to open up the window and click Authorize. A new window will pop up with for you to authorize the OAuth access to Egnyte.




  4. After authorizing the OAuth access, the Egnyte instance configuration will have status green (if daily rate limit is not exceeded). You are now done with configuration and can modify or adjust your scanning policies and actions.
