General flow

To fully integrate Forcepoint DLP and Forcepoint ONE SSE SWG, complete the following steps:

Steps

  1. (On FSM) Ensure that the DLP Cloud Applications license is activated. For details, see License Information section.
  2. Ensure that your network is configured to enable connectivity between the FSM and the Forcepoint ONE SSE service. For details, see Firewall and network access prerequisites section.
  3. (On FSM) Connect to the Data Protection Service. For details, see Connect Data Protection Service in the Forcepoint Security Manager section.
  4. (On Forcepoint ONE SSE) For configurations on Forcepoint ONE SSE, see Step4: Upload DPS license JSON in Forcepoint ONE SSE.
  5. (On FSM) Update the Forcepoint ONE SSE URLs in the FSM SQL database. For details, see Step5: Update the Forcepoint ONE SSE URLs on the FSM SQL database section.
    Note: You can skip this step if you are using the Forcepoint ONE SSE Commercial Cloud to connect to Forcepoint ONE SSE.
  6. (On FSM) Upload URL categories in the FSM. For details, see Step6: Upload URL categories on the FSM.
  7. (On FSM) Configure the Forcepoint DLP policy to work on web traffic attached to the Forcepoint ONE SSE. For details, see Step7: Configure DLP policies for Web traffic on the FSM.
  8. (On Forcepoint ONE SSE) Configure SWG content policies for SWG access in the Forcepoint ONE SSE. For details, refer to Step8: Configure SWG content policies for SWG access in Forcepoint ONE SSE.
  9. (On FSM) View Forcepoint DLP incident details in the FSM. For details, see Step9: View Forcepoint DLP incidents on the FSM.
