Creating New Users in Microsoft Entra ID

Steps for creating new users in Microsoft Entra ID.

1. Login to your Azure portal and go to Microsoft Entra ID > Custom domain names to identify which of your domains are federated.
   
   
   
2. Now back on the Admin Page > Active Users, click Add User and add the user to a non-federated domain (<domain_name>.onmicrosoft.com).
   
   
   
3. Once you are done you will need to assign the user an ImmutableID. You will not be able to move the user to the federated domain until this step is completed.
