Box Edit plugin

  • Summary: The Box Edit plugin for Microsoft Office allow documents to be opened in Office, edited and directly updated back into Box.
  • Limitation: The Box edit plugin is hard-coded to bypass Forcepoint ONE SSE security controls. Hence document creation and editing in Office is disabled when Forcepoint ONE SSE is deployed.
  • Workarounds: Users can download, edit and upload files.
