Integrating Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | DLP with Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | SSE CASB

You can integrate Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | SSE with Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | DLP so that Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | SSE can enforce DLP policy and associated actions setup in Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | DLP for CASB channel in Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | SSE.

Note: The procedure to integrate Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | SSE CASB with Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | DLP is similar to integrating with on-premises FSM. To know the steps in detail, refer to Forcepoint DLP and Forcepoint ONE SSE CASB Integration Guide.

To fully integrate Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | DLP with Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | SSE CASB, follow the high level steps below:

Steps

  1. In Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | SSE, upload the JSON file provided with your Forcepoint order confirmation mail as part of the on-boarding process or requested from Forcepoint Technical Support.

This is to ensure that Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | SSE can interact with Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | DLP and implement policies configured in Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | DLP.

To upload JSON file in Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | SSE, refer to Upload DPS license JSON on Forcepoint ONE SSE.

  2. Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | DLP retrieves the list of cloud applications from Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | SSE.
To view cloud applications in Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | DLP, refer to Cloud Applications.
  3. In Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | DLP, configure a data protection policy to work on specific CASB application(s) traffic attached to the Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | SSE CASB system.

To configure data protection policy in Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | DLP, refer to Data protection.

  4. In Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | SSE, configure Quarantine or Create Copy Locations for Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | DLP controlled API Policies.

For details, refer to Configure quarantine or create copy locations for FSM controlled API policies.

Note: This step is required only if you are setting up cloud applications to scan data at rest (API setup).
  5. In Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | SSE, configure DLP policies for cloud applications.
  6. In Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | DLP, review the alert generated for CASB applications. For details, refer to Alert details.
  7. On Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | SSE, review event information. For details, refer to View event information on the Forcepoint ONE SSE.
