Default access permission

The Default access permission displays information on the version of the current applied policy rule. The default access permission applies to all users and all removable storage devices.

Click the Edit button to open the Default access rule editor.

The following editor window opens:

Permissions: Displays the default permission associated with the currently applied rule.

End-user notifications: Allows administrators to specify whether the end user should be notified if they are being monitored.
  • Display end-user notification: Set to Yes if end-user should be notified that they are being monitored.
  • Choose notification type: If Default notification for access permission is selected, the predefined message is shown the end-user. If Customize is selected, administrator can create a custom message for display to the end-user.
  • Dismiss Notification: Based on the selected time frame, the message notification can be dismissed.
