Steps for user authentication

Once migration is started, user mobile devices will be disconnected from their account and will have a unique selective wipe email with an authentication link that is unique per device.

Steps

  1. The user will need to open up their email on their mobile device to view the unique email. The email will contain a link to authenticate via modern Auth that is unique to the device. They will need to do this process for every device they have connected.


  2. Click the link to be redirected to the page to authenticate. Enter your Forcepoint ONE SSE credentials.


  3. The user will be redirected to a Success page with a code at the end. They will need to copy this code to use as their mobile mail password in the next step.


  4. With the code copied they will need to delete their mail account from the device and then re-add it but using the code copied in step 3 as their password. Once completed they should be successfully migrated over to using modern Auth.
