Modifying the expiration date

You can modify the expiration date of the External API token either from the External API tile or its details page.

Steps

  1. Sign in to Forcepoint Data Security Cloud.
  2. From the application waffle, select Admin.
  3. From the left Navigation Pane, click the External API icon.

    The following page opens displaying existing OAuth tokens.



  4. To modify the expiration date of the External API token from the External API tile:
    1. Click the Edit Expiration Date icon.

      The Edit Expiration Date dialog opens.



    2. To modify an Expiration date for the API token, either enter a date manually or choose a date from the calendar.
      Note: The Expiration date can be set between 24 hours and 12 months from the API token creation date.
    3. Click Confirm to save the change.
  5. To modify the expiration date of the External API token while viewing details:
    1. To view external API token details, click Details.

      The right pane opens displaying the API token details.

    2. To modify expiration date, click Edit Expiration.


      The Edit Expiration Date dialog opens.



    3. To modify an Expiration date for the API token, either enter a date manually or choose a date from the calendar.
      Note: The Expiration date can be set between 24 hours and 12 months from the API token creation date.
    4. Click Confirm to save the change.
