Deactivating an API token

You can deactivate an API token when no longer needed.

Steps

  1. Sign in to Forcepoint Data Security Cloud.
  2. From the application waffle, select Admin.
  3. From the left Navigation Pane, click the External API icon.

    The following page opens displaying existing OAuth tokens.



  4. To deactivate the External API token from the External API tile:
    1. Click the Deactivate icon.

      The Deactivate Token dialog opens.



    2. Click Deactivate to deactivate the API token.
  5. To deactivate the External API token while viewing details:
    1. To view external API token details, click Details.

      The right pane opens displaying the API token details.

    2. To deactivate the API token, click Deactivate.


      The Deactivate Token dialog opens.



    3. Click Deactivate to deactivate the API token.
  6. Once the API token is deactivated, the API token tile displayed the Delete icon replacing the Deactivate icon.

Next steps

You can reactivate the external API token by modifying the expiration date of a deactivated external API token.
