Requirements for SmartEdge Agent installation

The Forcepoint ONE SSE SmartEdge agent is a discreet agent designed to work on most modern computers.

Following are the minimal requirements for installation the agents:

• Recommended Hardware Sizing:
  • 4 core (Intel I5 or better) (64-bit)
  • 4GB RAM
  • 2GB free disk space for operations
• Windows Requirements:
  • Windows 10 (22H2 or later)
  • Windows 11
  Note:

  Windows SmartEdge Agent 2.4.0 and later versions support non-English characters for user authentication:

  • To know how SmartEdge Agent works with non-English on-premises AD users, refer to SmartEdge Agent with non-English on-premises AD users.

• Mac Requirements:
  • Monterey OS, Ventura, Sonoma, Sequoia (64 bit)
    Note:

    • Sonoma 14.1.x and higher is supported from SmartEdge agent 2.1.0 onwards.
    • Sequoia is supported from SmartEdge agent 2.4.0 onwards.
