Requirements for SmartEdge Agent installation
The Forcepoint ONE SSE SmartEdge agent is a discreet agent designed to work on most modern computers.
Following are the minimal requirements for installation the agents:
- Recommended Hardware Sizing:
- 4 core (Intel I5 or better) (64-bit)
- 4GB RAM
- 2GB free disk space for operations
- Windows Requirements:
- Windows 10 (English language) (22H2 or later)
- Windows 11 (English language)
- Mac Requirements:
- Monterey OS, Ventura, Sonoma 14.0 and higher (64 bit)Note: Sonoma 14.1.x and higher is supported from SmartEdge agent 2.1.0 onwards.
- Intel or M1 chips
- Monterey OS, Ventura, Sonoma 14.0 and higher (64 bit)
Note: Starting from the Windows 1.8.0 and macOS 2.1.0 releases of the SmartEdge agent, the auto-installer will be bundled with each agent release. Upgrading to Windows 1.8.0 or macOS 2.1.0 or
higher version will upgrade the auto-installer version on all windows and macOS devices.
