Allowing on endpoint management agents
For customers using other endpoint management agents such as Carbon Black or FireEye, you may need to allow the Forcepoint ONE SSE SmartEdge agent installer, the Forcepoint ONE SSE signed certificate, as well as the services/processes it runs to ensure the installation and/or services are not blocked by your security controls.
You will need to allow the following:
- SmartEdge Agent Installer: Ensure that the installation of the Forcepoint ONE SSE SmartEdge agent doesn't get blocked.
- Services/Processes: You will need to allow the following services that the SmartEdge agent runs to ensure full functionality.
- Windows
- seproxysvc: This service manages the seproxy process.
- seproxy: This is the process that runs the actual proxy function of the agent.
- bgptray: The SmartEdge agent tray icon used to access logs and debugging.
- bgpagent: The actual agent service that sends/receives the policy information from the Forcepoint ONE SSE portal and PAC file.
- Mac
- bgpagent: The actual agent service that sends/receives the policy information from theForcepoint ONE SSE portal and PAC file.
- seproxy: This is the process that runs the actual proxy function of the agent.
- SmartEdge_Agent: The SmartEdge agent tray icon used to access logs and debugging.
- Windows
- Bitglass Cert: The signed Forcepoint ONE SSE certificate to ensure access.
