Applying the Initial Configuration

Select a default security policy and download the engine.cfg file for USB-based policy deployment.

Steps

  1. Navigate back to the engine dashboard and click Initial Configuration.
    A window will appear where you can save or upload the initial configuration.
  2. Click Select to browse for the initial security policy.
  3. In the Select Element window, expand Firewall Inspection Template and select Default Policy for Security Engine.
  4. Click Select. Keep the remaining engine configuration settings as default.
  5. Under USB Drive Installation, click Save As.
    A pop-up window will appear for saving the initial engine configuration.
  6. Click Download File to download the engine.cfg file, which can be transferred via USB drive to push the policy from a remote host.
