Reviewing Web Debug Logs

Forcepoint ONE SSE enables you to generate Web debug logs, for the websites accessed by users with the SmartEdge agent and Cloud SWG, to enable more effective debugging.

Once the Web Debug feature is enabled for your tenant and once the debug mode is enabled, you can see the logs within 5 minutes as soon as logs are generated so that you can debug issues like policy hits, policy migrations, and so on. For example, you can debug a new policy by seeing the Web Debug logs to make sure if the policy is getting correctly hit.

You can turn on and off the debugging mode for Web logs, which can have traffic from SmartEdge agent or Cloud SWG origin. When you turn on the debugging, the logs are displayed preferably within 5 minutes and can be viewed for 15 minutes debug window. You can also extend the debug window beyond 15 minutes.

You can access the Web Debug page by navigating to Analyze > Logs > Web Debug.
