Uploading license JSON on Forcepoint ONE SSE

You need to upload the JSON file provided with your Forcepoint order confirmation mail as part of the on-boarding process or requested from Forcepoint Technical Support. This is to ensure that Forcepoint ONE SSE can interact with the DPS configured on the FSM and implement policies configured on the FSM.

You should upload DPS license JSON file in FSM and then upload the same license JSON file in Forcepoint ONE SSE so that both systems can interact with the same DPS instance.

Note: Admin logs are generated whenever you update the JSON file.

To upload the DPS license JSON in Forcepoint ONE SSE, follow the steps below:

Steps

  1. Log into the Forcepoint ONE SSE portal.
  2. Navigate to Settings > DLP.
  3. On the Forcepoint DLP card, under License Settings, click Upload JSON File.
  4. Navigate to the JSON file and select it.
  5. At the bottom of the Forcepoint DLP card, click Save.

Once you have saved the JSON file, you can find DPS Tenant ID, an option to verify DPS connection and another option to update the JSON file.

  6. Click Verify Connection to validate JSON and to check the connection to the DPS.

After successful validation of the license JSON file, a green checkmark appears along with the Connection Successful message.

If the validation of the license JSON file failed for some reason, then a red mark appears along with the Connection failed message.
