Configuring advanced options in the dashboard

While modifying the dashboard, you can configure advanced options, such as disabling report view and enabling drilldown capability of the widget in the dashboard. The report view enables the ability to navigate from the Dashboard to the corresponding report view for a selected Widget.

1. While modifying the dashboard, place your mouse pointer on the widget that you need to configure advanced options and then click Settings.

2. To disable the report view of the widget, set the Report view toggle to Disabled.

   When disabled, admins will not be able to navigate from the Dashboard to the corresponding report view for the widget.

   By default, the Report view toggle is set to Enabled.

3. To enable the drilldown capability of the widget:
   1. Under the Dimensions column, enter text in the Type to search field to filter dimensions based on the text.
   2. Select all the dimensions that you would like to use for drilling down the widget.
   3. Click + to move selected dimensions from the Dimensions section to the Allow drilldown by the following dimensions section.

      You can add a maximum of five dimensions.

   4. Click - to remove selected dimensions from the Allow drilldown by the following dimensions section and move back to the Dimensions section.
   5. To remove all the selected dimensions from the Allow drilldown by the following dimensions section, click the Remove All.
4. To save advanced options change, click Save.
5. To update the dashboard with the details entered:
   • Click Update and Close to save the dashboard with the details entered and redirect you to the Dashboards tab.
   • Click Update to save the dashboard with the details entered and redirect you to view mode of dashboard.
