Generating an API token

1. Open the Confluence home page.
   
2. Navigate to the Settings option under Profiles.
   
3. Navigate to Personal Access Token tab click Create token:
   
4. Enter a Token Name, optionally enter a value for the token expiry and click Create:
   
5. Copy the token generated and close the screen.
