Setting up the data source connection

Before you begin

You should have set up the Opentext environment as explained in section Setting up the Opentext Environment.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Administration > Data Sources > OpenText xECM.
  2. Click New Credentials.
  3. Provide the Credentials name, Username, Password, Domain (which is copied from Opentext in previous section). An example, for the domain will be something like: http://{YOUR_DOMAIN_NAME}/OTCS/cs.exe/api. It is expected to be a link to the API endpoint.
  4. After entering the values, you can either just SAVE & CLOSE or you can proceed onto creating a scan configuration by clicking SAVE & CREATE SCAN.

Result

If connection to the data source is successful proceed to setting up the scan configuration.
