Creating Credentials

Credentials tell the platform how to connect to a specific Exchange server. If you have several Exchange servers, create a separate credential for each one. When creating a credential you provide the following details:

Table 1. Credential fields
Field Description
Credential name A name to identify this credential.
Server URL The address of the Exchange server.
Username The account used to connect.
Domain The domain for the account.
Authentication scheme The method used to authenticate. Several schemes are available — Basic, Negotiate and NTLM — and the appropriate one should be selected for your environment.
Password The password for the account used to connect.
Optional settings Additional settings, supplied only if applicable to your environment.
Tip: Some fields carry default values. Confirm each value matches your Exchange environment before saving.
