Creating Credentials
Credentials tell the platform how to connect to a specific Exchange server. If you have several Exchange servers, create a separate credential for each one. When creating a credential you provide the following details:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Credential name | A name to identify this credential. |
| Server URL | The address of the Exchange server. |
| Username | The account used to connect. |
| Domain | The domain for the account. |
| Authentication scheme | The method used to authenticate. Several schemes are available — Basic, Negotiate and NTLM — and the appropriate one should be selected for your environment. |
| Password | The password for the account used to connect. |
| Optional settings | Additional settings, supplied only if applicable to your environment. |
Tip: Some fields carry default values. Confirm each value matches your Exchange environment before saving.
